SCH! is a single acoustic family designed to work together, so the wall, ceiling and desk pieces share one look instead of being three unrelated products bolted into the same room. It covers ceiling baffles in the Shade and Hatch profiles, wall tiles in sets of four, wall and hanging screens as single or three panel arrangements, and desktop screens in oblong, rectangle and wave shapes. A noisy office is rarely fixed in one place: something over the desk, something on the wall and something overhead does more together than a great deal of any one. The wider acoustic solutions pages carry the alternatives.
Where the panels actually need to go
Noise builds when hard surfaces send sound back into the room, so put the absorption where it is bouncing: plasterboard walls, glass partitions and the hard ceiling over an open plan floor. Wall panels do most good at roughly seated ear height on the surface facing the noise, often the wall behind a bank of desks rather than the one everyone looks at. Where the ceiling is high or the services exposed, ceiling baffles hung vertically catch sound that never reaches a wall.
Coverage is the part people underestimate. A handful of wall tiles scattered round a big room changes very little, and the honest answer is that treatment softens reverberation and takes the edge off chatter rather than making a room silent. If the real problem is people needing somewhere private for calls, privacy booths and pods are the better spend, and hanging acoustics suit rooms where drilling walls is not allowed.
Working it in at desk level
The SCH! screens overlap with the wider desktop and acoustic screens range, and the wave and oblong shapes look softer than a plain rectangle in a client facing room. On bench runs you may want screens made for the frame instead, which is what desktop and bench screens and Impulse Plus screens cover.

Wall tiles and desk screens are simple enough to fit yourself. Ceiling baffles and hanging screens mean working at height and choosing fixings to suit the ceiling you actually have, which is where installation earns its keep.
