1. Who we are
Office Masters is a trading name of Neil Andrew Office Solutions Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 10458661. Registered office: Unit 7 Edison Close, Ransomes Europark, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9GU. VAT registration number GB 254531808.
You can reach us on 01473 464644 or at sales@theofficemasters.co.uk. Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, excluding bank holidays.
These terms apply when you buy from Office Masters, whether you are a consumer or buying for a business. Part A applies to everyone. Part B adds the rights you have as a consumer. Part C applies instead of Part B if you are buying in the course of a business.
2. How a contract is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our order acknowledgement email confirms we have received it, but it does not accept it.
A contract comes into existence only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot supply an item, for example because it is out of stock or we have identified a pricing error, we will tell you and will not process that part of the order. Any payment taken for it is refunded in full.
3. Products
We take care to describe and picture products accurately. Images are illustrative: finishes, fabrics and timber grains vary between production batches and can look different on screen.
Dimensions and specifications are supplied by our manufacturers and are given as a guide. If a measurement is critical to your space, please confirm it with us before ordering.
Where a product is made to your specification or in a fabric of your choosing, it is treated as a bespoke item. Bespoke items cannot be cancelled once production has started, other than where the goods are faulty or not as described.
4. Price and payment
Prices shown on the site include VAT at the current rate unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you pay.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order.
If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel. We will not process the order until we have your instructions.
5. Delivery
Delivery options, costs and estimated timescales are shown at checkout. Full detail is on our Delivery page.
Estimated delivery dates are estimates and not guarantees. Where we know a delivery will be significantly delayed we will contact you and you may cancel and receive a full refund.
Please make sure the goods will fit through doorways, corridors, stairwells and lifts on the route to the room they are going in. Tell us before you order if access is difficult.
6. Returns
How to return an order, the timescales and who pays return carriage are set out in full on our Returns page, which forms part of these terms.
7. Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supplier failure, transport disruption, fire, flood, severe weather, industrial action or the acts of any government or public authority. If such an event occurs we will contact you and either extend the delivery timescale or, if the delay is substantial, allow you to cancel and receive a full refund.
8. Use of this website
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse it by knowingly introducing malicious code, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or extracting content systematically for commercial purposes without our written permission.
All content on this site, including text, images, logos and layout, belongs to us or our suppliers and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.
9. Your personal information
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and the rights you have.
10. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, contact us on 01473 464644 or at sales@theofficemasters.co.uk and we will do our best to put it right. We aim to acknowledge complaints within one working day and to resolve them within ten working days, telling you if we need longer.
If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme. Consumers can also find free advice from Citizens Advice.
11. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published on this site when you placed it.
12. Other important terms
We may transfer our rights and obligations under a contract to another organisation. This will not affect your rights under the contract.
If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest continues in force. A delay in enforcing these terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and both of us submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
Part B: if you are a consumer
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, as described and match any sample shown to you. If they are not, you have the remedies set out on our Returns page, including a full refund if you reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to change your mind and cancel without giving a reason, other than for bespoke or personalised goods.
Unless we agree a longer period with you, we will deliver within 30 days of accepting your order.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for breach of your statutory rights in relation to the goods, or under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
Part C: if you are a business customer
This part applies instead of Part B where you are buying in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession. The 14-day cancellation right in Part B does not apply to you.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full.
You must inspect goods on delivery and tell us about shortages, incorrect items or visible damage within 7 days of delivery, and about other defects within a reasonable time of discovering them.
Subject to the paragraph below, our total liability to you in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise is limited to the price paid for the goods, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of anticipated savings.
Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
