A bundle is a room in one order. The Oslo oval boardroom table comes in 1800mm and 2400mm with executive chairs already matched to it, the High Gloss 1800mm writable boardroom table has a top you can draw on with a whiteboard pen, and the Impulse cantilever straight desk arrives with a mobile pedestal and a Chiro medium back operator chair so a workstation lands complete. It is not only convenience: pieces bought separately often turn up in slightly different blacks. Individual items live in meeting and boardroom tables and office desks.
Choosing the right bundle
Measure the room before you fall for a table size. An 1800mm oval seats six comfortably and eight at a push, a 2400mm takes eight to ten, and you want roughly a metre of clear space all the way round so chairs can pull out and people can pass behind them. Check the door and stair widths too, since a boardroom top is the item most likely to get stuck on the way in.
On a workstation bundle, look at the desk size and the chair rather than the saving. The Impulse cantilever desk leaves the underside clear so the pedestal rolls in and out easily. If several people share that desk across a week, consider substituting something better from task and operator chairs, and in a private office an executive chair changes the feel entirely.
Filling in the gaps
Bundles cover the furniture, not the whole fit-out. A boardroom used for presentations usually wants power in the table, which the boardroom tables with power options handle, plus somewhere for paperwork, so a unit from cupboards and bookcases along the back wall is worth adding. For a private office, pieces from the Oslo desking collection sit alongside without clashing, and there are more sets under bundle.
Bundles delivered and built across Suffolk and Essex
Office Masters is the online face of Neil Andrew Office Solutions, a family business at Edison Close on Ransomes Europark in Ipswich. Neil started out in his father Malcolm's company in the 1980s and relaunched under his own name in 2017, and the firm supplies and installs across Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk. Deliveries to Ipswich, Woodbridge, Sudbury, Colchester and Norwich are routine.
Bundles are where installation earns its money, because a boardroom set is several heavy boxes and a base that has to be squared and levelled before the top goes on. Add pre-build and installation and it will be standing, level and clear of packaging when you walk in. Free standard UK mainland delivery takes five working days, with a next working day upgrade.
