Mesh executive chairs give you the size, adjustment and presence of an executive seat without the heat of a padded leather back. The Zure, Vegalite, Victor II, Sanderson II and Saturn all tension mesh over a frame, the Lula does the same in a medium back, and the Ace and Sigma add folding arms. Against the padded options in executive chairs, mesh flexes to your back rather than compressing under it; against a standard mesh office chair, you get a taller back and usually a headrest.
Choosing a mesh executive chair
Look at how the back is built before you look at shell colour. Well tensioned mesh pushes back against your lower spine when you lean in rather than sagging into a hammock, and a separately adjustable lumbar pad suits more people than a shape moulded to one back. High backs like the Zure and Saturn carry a headrest, useful if you take calls leaning back and largely decorative if you sit upright at a keyboard.
Two practical points. Shell colour changes a room more than people expect: white lifts a dark office but shows scuffs where the back meets a wall, black hides everything. Mesh is cooler but firmer against thin clothing, so anyone wanting padding throughout is better served by leather executive chairs or fabric executive chairs. For a whole team at screens, the lighter frames in mesh task chairs are usually better value.
Desks and extras to pair with
A high back needs room behind it, so check the desk position first and size the chair against the office desks you actually have; fixed arms that will not slide under the top make a small office feel smaller. Where several chairs go into one space, browse office chairs and seating so they share a family resemblance. When a gas lift softens or a castor splits, chair spares and parts buys another few years.

Office Masters is the web shop of Neil Andrew Office Solutions Limited. We are family run, based at Edison Close on Ransomes Europark in Ipswich, and the business has been at this since the 1980s, when Neil worked alongside his father Malcolm. We supply and install, and our vans are a regular sight in Ipswich, Felixstowe, Chelmsford and Haverhill.
Assembly is straightforward: the base and gas lift push together, the back is usually already fitted, and you are sitting in it within a quarter of an hour. Standard UK mainland delivery is free within five working days, a next working day upgrade covers somebody starting sooner than expected, and installation can be added for a batch.
