Tables for the part of the building where people eat, wait and have the conversations that never happen in a meeting room. The Italia square tables come in coffee and poseur heights with a cross base or a column, the Impulse round and square coffee tables sit on a metal frame or an arrowhead leg, and the Brixworth 1200mm oblong coffee table on a disc base is long enough for three people's cups. The cafe and bistro collection gathers the tables and seating together if you are doing a whole room at once.
Choosing a bistro table
Height sets the mood. A coffee table at around 450mm goes with sofas and low chairs and suits waiting rather than working. A dining height top around 720mm suits lunch, laptops and anything involving cutlery. Poseur height is roughly 1050mm and keeps conversations short, which is exactly why it works beside a coffee machine. Pair heights properly with the cafe and bistro seating and check stool heights before ordering, or the room simply will not get used.
Then look underneath. A disc or cross base leaves knees free and lets chairs pull in from any side, while four legs are steadier under a wide top but limit where a chair goes. Round tops suit a tight corner and keep sharp edges out of a busy walkway, while square and oblong tops push together for a training session. For something closer to a proper meeting table, see breakout and shaped tables or the wider tables range.
Building the rest of the room
High tables from the bar and poseur tables page with a few stools handle the quick coffee, while a softer corner with a low table and soft seating is where people actually take a break. To keep finishes consistent, the Brixworth collection page shows the rest of that family.
Canteen and breakout tables across East Anglia
Behind Office Masters is Neil Andrew Office Solutions, a family firm working out of Edison Close on Ransomes Europark in Ipswich. Neil learned the trade with his father Malcolm in the 1980s and relaunched under his own name in 2017, and we still fit out offices, canteens and breakout spaces across Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk. Deliveries head out regularly to Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Sudbury and Colchester, free within five working days anywhere on the UK mainland.
Table shape and spacing decide how many people can eat at once, so send a plan over with the serving counter marked and we will suggest a mix of heights. Installation and pre-build can be added if you want the room ready rather than boxed, there is a next working day upgrade when time is short, and 01473 464644 reaches someone who can talk it through.
